THX

THX-phobia is the fear of the THX logo with its signature Deep Note sound mark and/or digital audio.

This fear usually sprouts in childhood, as the THX logo was infamous for scaring young children due to its loud and jarring audio and being featured in a majority of Disney (until 2005) and 20th Century movies (until 2012; when Disney acquired it in 2019), a number of Pixar movies (up until the DVD release of Cars), and other movies too. Still, it remains a memorable and nostalgic logo, however, some children such as Aiden Andrews, are not scared of the logo, because Andrews has confirmed when he wasn’t scared of it since his childhood, and he was scared of the Eclipse trailer either. The only thing he has seen were the ones including Broadway (the home video version), Moo Can, Tex, and Horton.

The scariest trailer of all time from THX is Eclipse, due to the reconstruction of the Deep Note, the darkness and mostly the fact of the Note be louder than the other trailers they have.

As the older you get, there is a chance you will not find the THX logo scary anymore.
