Philosophobia is the fear of philosophy. Sufferers would also fear the nature (idiotitaphobia) and knowledge (epistemophobia) since philosophy is about expressing the knowledge of nature. The cause of this phobia usually traces back to early childhood when they don't know much about concepts of reality, but it often goes away once they know a great deal of it.
Philosophobia can be related to scientophobia, the fear of science, since philosophy was the dominant field of study before science took over.
