Bells

Kampanaphobia (from Greek kampana, meaning bell) is the fear of bells. This phobia is commonly triggered by a negative experience with bells, such as getting scared when bell rings, or getting injured when a person that reacts to bell bumps or knock them over.

Symptoms of kampanaphobia include panic, dread, feeling of doom, heart palpations, loss of control, mind and focus, and air hunger.

Treating kampanaphobia is relatively easy as it is not an irrational fear. It is treated by peacefully presenting a bell to sufferer and then ring the bell softly to them, and then ring faster. Or it can teach sufferers all about bells, including its history, uses, and as an icon.
