Lipophobia (from Greek lipos, "fat", "grease") is the fear of fats. Lipophobia is often triggered after knowing that fats can cause blockages in the arteries leading to heart attacks. Depending on the person, this phobia can be linked to elaiophobia (fear of oil and grease). Sufferers would only eat fat-free food.
