Apeirophobia is the fear of eternity. This fear is often connected with thanatophobia (fear of dying) since many sufferers would believe that eternity follows life, especially learning that afterlife would never end. Believers in reincarnation may not associate eternity fear with death.
People with apeirophobia may suffer some symptoms, like obsessive thoughts about the nature of eternity, loss of control and focus, fatigue, and loss of apetite.
Treating apeirophobia is often difficult. One method in treating it is focusing on their life and not worry about dying. It is more often than not that professional therapists may need to modify the sufferer's emotion is most effectively done using cognitive-behavioral therapy.
