Flower

Anthophobia (from Greek anthos, "flower") is the fear of flowers, a branch of botanophobia, fear of plants. People may fear all flowers while some may only fear specific types of flowers. Causes of anthophobia include negative experiences involving flowers, including in fiction, such as scary scenes in movies or TV show involving flowers. People who get allergies from flowers may trigger anthophobia. Another reason why people fear flowers is because there could be insects infested in flowers, like bees, or that some flowers are used for cooking especially by those suffering food phobias.

Common symptoms of anthophobia are breathlessness, dizziness, excessive sweating, nausea, dry mouth, feeling sick, heart palpitations, inability to speak or think clearly, a fear of dying, becoming mad or losing control, a sensation of detachment from reality or a full blown anxiety attack, although different people experiencing anthophobia in their own way and may have different symptoms as such.

Anthophobia may not need serious attention as this phobia doesn't have roots, but it can be treated using hypnotherapy or anti-anxiety medication.
